Hello, I’m Ursula—wife to a wonderful husband of almost 25 years and mom to three kids. I’m the designer behind all the Scripture quotes here at Beautiful Word.
Why Scripture Quotes?
Before creating Scripture art, I worked in web design and technology, then spent six years blogging. In 2019, I finally decided to start my own business. Beautiful Word is the result of my love for design and God’s word, brought together to create home decor with a clean, modern aesthetic that fits beautifully into everyday life.
Life, Family, and God’s Word
The last decade has been a whirlwind for our family as we’ve raised three teenagers (now 21, 18, and 16). Parenting is hard work, and I rely on God’s word hourly. Having His truth on our walls and in our home has been truly life-giving.
The Heart Behind This Shop
Memorizing Scripture is key in my life because God’s word has power. My hope and prayer is that you find a verse here that catches your attention—and that you’ll memorize it. Once God’s word is in your mind and heart, you can access His wisdom anywhere, anytime.

Deut 11: 18-21
