LIving with the living Word

LIving with the living Word

2026 has been a year of big changes in our home. We have a high school graduate, and our last teen is now fully licensed. It feels like the end of an era for me—no more driving my daughter to playdates (I mean, “hangouts”), heading to the gym together, or picking her up from school.

So what does this have to do with Scripture canvas art? Everything. Having God’s Word front and center in our home constantly reminds me of His promises: “The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.” Psalm 29:11. As I surround myself with God’s life‑giving words on our walls, my spirit is gently pulled back to His truth and not the “what‑ifs” of this new season. That’s what “Living with the Living Word” looks like for me—letting Scripture shape the atmosphere of our home and the posture of my heart.

In our living room, this corner has become a daily reminder of that. It’s nothing fancy—just a chair, a lamp, my Bible on the side table, and two pieces of Scripture art on the wall—but it’s where I sit with my coffee and let God’s Word meet me in the middle of everyday life. As I look up and see His promises woven into the artwork, I’m reminded that His strength and peace don’t depend on my kids’ ages, schedules, or how “together” I feel that day. They’re steady and unchanging, even as everything else in our home keeps shifting.

God never changes. Period. He is the same yesterday, today, and in whatever the future holds for our family. His Word strengthens me every single day, and the peace He gives—peace that truly goes beyond my understanding—gets to rule my thoughts instead of fear or anxiety. When I keep His promises in front of my eyes, on my walls, and in my heart, I’m reminded that even though our season is changing, our God is not.

As I’ve walked through this new season, I’ve found myself longing for more of God’s Word on my walls, not just in my journals or on my phone. That’s really how Beautiful Word was born—out of my own desire to surround our home with Scripture in a way that felt simple, modern, and meaningful. My hope is that these pieces will do the same for you, quietly reminding you of God’s unchanging promises in the middle of carpool lines, graduation parties, empty rooms, and everything in between.

Until next time!
